Your small group can use this as your go-to guide for Bible study or it can be used as a supplement to your existing group Bible study.

HOW TO USE WITH SMALL GROUPS:

When starting a group, it’s easy to want to cover as much content as possible. Yet we have found that less is more. Studying shorter passages each time you meet allows for deeper conversation and time to uncover the true meaning and purpose of the text.

As you use this guide to facilitate your group Bible study:

• Give each person in the small group their personal CHARA Bible Study Guide.

• Ask the group to read the passage before you meet (preferably more than once).

• Ask each person to answer a few questions from this guide on their own before they come - whatever stands out to them.

• As the leader, pick out a handful of questions that will help uncover the passage and guide the conversation. Consider what order of CHARA to discuss them in (it’s okay to bounce around).

• When gathered together, give others the opportunity to share what they discovered along the way!
